There is a guy in the DC area dumping 29 running 1997-2002 school buses for $2500 each. So, that begs the question, What would you do with one?
My vote is "Longest Bed Pickup Ever."

Convert the interior so that it's livable, and go adventuring.

Park it down by the river and live in it...

The other question it begs is, "why does this guy have 29 school buses?"

I've seen them used for that exact purpose on farms. They chop the backs off and haul...whatever the heck they want to.

Ultimate free candy van. . .
But I think I would convert the interior for living and go on out adventuring.

What would I do?
Pick up kids in the morning and take them to the wrong school for the LOLs.
Then maybe drive around the rest of the day pulling the sign and the red lights whenever I wanted. No rhyme, no reason. Maybe on 495.
Then I would hit the slug lines and see how many people wanted a ride to Lenfant plaza in the mornings.
How many days would it take before I get $2500 worth of fun out of it?

I've often thought about making an old school bus into a mobile workshop.

Since I fly RC, I'd turn it into a mobile workshop. Use it to transport planes and work on them at the same time

There is a band from Chicago that uses a school bus to tour out of instead of buying a cramped Ford Transit. They had to paint it black for legal reasons though.

Do you know how big a bus is?
(10 internets to anyone who gets this reference)

School Bus Car Hauler. Because keeps the racecar out of the elements yet doesn't require a trailer.

Because they don't make the house smell as bad as 29 cats? Dunno. No explaining hoarders.

If any are low mileage short buses with an LS motor I might know what to do with the engine.... scrap the rest.

Make it into a ramped flatbed with an enclosed cab, bag the back axle.
That way, you back up to the car you want to drive on, let all the air out, and drive the car up on.
